A new partnership between German-based Anna Klose Hamburg and JustWorld International makes it easier than ever for equestrians to shop good, do good, feel (and look) good.
Known throughout the world for elegance, sophistication and timeless design, Anna Klose Hamburg products represent the highest quality. But the fashion and apparel purveyors, who also offer a collection of horse and dog items, want to make an impact that goes beyond their statement pieces.
The new JustWorld hoodie is no exception to the standard expected from Anna Klose, with an innovative snap closure and AKH logo in JustWorld purple, including JustWorldβs famous hashtag #RideForTheCause.
βThis partnership is about integrity, to think of more than just making money in the sport but of ways to use this sport for good,β Sandra Kristoffersen, Managing Director of Anna Klose Hamburg, said. βItβs a very powerful community, and Jessica [Newman, founder of JustWorld International] saw a great opportunity to use the community as a platform for JustWorld. Anna has always wanted to try to use the brand to give back too.β
With both organizations rooted in the global equestrian community, Newman said the connection βreflects our heritage in the utmost elegant way.β
Kristoffersen became a JustWorld International Ambassador after meeting Newman at Aachen a few years ago.
βJessica is so passionate about it, that really touched me,β Kristoffersen added. βAnna always wanted to work with some sort of charity.β
The pullover was selected for the partnership due to its popularity and versatility. βRiders wear them on a lot of occasionsβat showgrounds after ridingβand use the hoodie to spread the message about JustWorld,β Kristoffersen said. βThe sweatshirt is a super cool way to raise awareness, and when someone buys it, it has a direct impact to the organization.β

That impact is felt with each purchase, with proceeds forwarded to JustWorld.
Zara Boyd, a JustWorld Ambassador and a junior at Parsons School of Design in New York, wears her pullover from school to the barn to horse shows or when running errands. βItβs chic, and Iβve never had that before in a hoodie,β she said. βThe JustWorld branding is obvious but very sleek. Itβs very fashionable, and I can wear it every day and represent JustWorld in every setting. Being an Ambassador is something Iβm really proud of, and this hoodie lets me bring it up without bringing it up.β
Loretta Tooke, a devoted Anna Klose Hamburg customer from Parkland, Florida, discovered JustWorld through the partnership.
βI very much believe in Anna, so when sheβs doing something sheβs in support of, Iβm always behind that, especially something thatβs giving back to the world,β Tooke said.
Now Tooke, a dressage rider, proudly wears her hoodie and is interested in the JustWorld Ambassador program, in which equestrians ride for the cause.
βThe hoodie is of very high quality, but most importantly what it represents is very powerful. There are a lot of people in the equestrian world who wear sweatshirts, so the item that was picked is indicative of something that all of us will wear, regardless of our disciplines,β Tooke said. βItβs a good fit.β
Anna Klose Hamburg shares information about JustWorldβs work in Honduras, Guatemala and Cambodia on the landing page for the hoodie, and more details about the impact of JustWorldβs work at these project sites arrive in the package with the hoodie.
βItβs an easy way to give back and still have something for yourself, so thatβs a cool balance to have. The idea of using the sport for something good is great,β Kristoffersen said. βItβs a sport with so many privileged people who get to enjoy good things in life, so itβs a cool way to involve the equestrian community in a social project and make it easy to give back to something else.β
